Where water runs down a wall constantly and growth holds on it, the damp green Vegetable Origin Damp Green from Lifecolor comes into play.
Responsibility details are not available.
Damp places on masonry have a coloring of their own that cannot be replaced by an ordinary green. The acrylic shade Vegetable Origin Damp Green is named after the green film of vegetable origin, that is, after what grows on a wall where it never properly dries out.
The fundamental difference from ordinary painting is that damp green is not dealt with as an area but as a trace. Water runs from the top down, holds under sills, by a faulty downpipe, in the corners and above the ground. The shade is therefore led in narrow vertical bands and left to weaken downward and to the sides. The stronger and darker core of the trace belongs in the middle, and toward the edges it should fade away gradually, so that an impression of gradual wetting arises.
For modelers of ruins, abandoned structures and damp corners, for builders of dioramas with water features and for everyone who wants traces of water beside the dust on masonry. It will also serve on the stones by a bank, on troughs, wells and wooden elements in permanently damp settings.
