AK Interactive Ultramarine - Acrylic Modeling Paint, 17 ml

Ultramarine is a saturated, striking and deep blue whose name comes from a historical pigment that was highly prized long before the era of modern paints. The paint comes from the 3rd Generation Acrylics range by AK Interactive and it is a modeling paint, not a kit: the package consists of one dropper bottle with a volume of 17 ml. The binder is acrylic and the paint is water-thinnable - it is thinned with the acrylic thinner of the same range or with water, and solvent (lacquer) thinners have no place here. It is applied with a brush straight from the bottle as well as with an airbrush after slight thinning, and once dry it takes further modeling techniques.

Use

• Decoration and racing finishes - blue fields, stripes, sponsor areas and striking color accents.
• Uniforms and figures - coats, trousers, collar tabs, banners and fabric elements.
• Naval elements and blue accessories, where a blue is meant to look saturated and clean.
• Mixing - an excellent base for creating darker blues (with black or dark blue) and lighter shades once white is mixed in.
• Apply it in thin coats; a saturated blue comes out best over a light, even base.
