A sandy shade, US Army Desert Sand, from the Hataka Orange Line, listed under standard numbers FS 30279 and ANA 616.
Responsibility details are not available.
Desert Sand is a light sandy brown, the desert camouflage shade of American equipment. The designation FS 30279 comes from the American federal standard color chart, and ANA 616 from an older list used in aviation; both numbers point to the same sandy tone, just from different systems. Judge the exact appearance against the manufacturer's color chart, since no verbal description can replace it. Also keep in mind that real equipment in the desert always looked more faded after a few weeks of use than fresh paint.
The paint belongs to Hataka's Orange Line. Choose the thinner made for this line, and follow the mixing ratio and application method the manufacturer gives on the package. Stir the bottle's contents thoroughly before use, or the pigment will stay settled at the bottom and the shade will not be consistent. Apply several thin coats with a pause between them instead of one heavy one, which would fill in engraving and wipe out fine detail. Wash and degrease the model's surface beforehand, and let the coat fully cure before applying masking tape.
Suitable for models of American desert-scheme equipment and anywhere you need a light sandy base. Light sandy tones have weaker covering power, so lay them over a light base. Work in a well-ventilated area and close the bottle carefully after use, so the paint does not thicken.
The model, thinner, brushes and an airbrush are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise. The package states the volume.
