Mr.Paint Violet (Clear) - a Transparent Violet Lacquer for the Airbrush

Mr.Paint Violet (Clear) is a transparent violet lacquer shade from the Mr.Paint (MRP) modeling range. It is not an opaque paint: it is a tinting lacquer that does not hide the surface beneath but colors it violet and lets the coat underneath show through. The paint has a very thin, airbrush-ready consistency and is intended solely for spraying with an airbrush; it is not suitable for application with a brush. It is a solvent-based (lacquer) material that forms a thin, smooth and durable film once dry.

Use

• Tinting transparent parts: canopies, lights, position and signal lights in violet.
• Candy color effects on a metallic or glossy base, where the coat underneath is meant to show through.
• Creating shades of violet where transparency is wanted, not coverage.
• Spray in thin coats; the saturation of the shade is governed by the number of coats. If needed, thin it with the thinner the manufacturer recommends for this range.

For modelers who work with an airbrush and need transparent color effects: tinting transparent parts, lit-up lights or candy shades on a metallic finish. Suitable for more advanced modelers used to lacquer (solvent-based) paints.
