About product

Mr.Paint Willow Green FS14187 (ANA 503)

This is a solvent-based modeling lacquer, not a water-thinnable acrylic. The Willow Green shade corresponds to the American code FS 14187 and to the older ANA 503 standard; it is a light green used by the US Navy in the period before the Second World War. The paint has a semi-gloss (satin) finish and is mixed to an airbrush consistency.

Use

Intended for airbrushing only, not for a brush.
It sprays from the bottle with practically no thinning; if needed, thin it further with the lacquer thinner of the same range.
It dries quickly to a thin, smooth film.
Do not thin it with water or with acrylic or enamel thinners.

Who it is for

For modelers of American interwar and prewar subjects who work with an airbrush and want accurate shades with a hard lacquer surface.

A solvent-based lacquer: flammable, with irritating fumes. Use a respirator, extraction and good ventilation, away from children and open flame.
