WINTER BLUE SOLDIERS – QUICK GEN SET contains four contrast colors of 18 ml each in a winter blue-gray key.

The main part here is played by a wolf blue-gray that the manufacturer mixed specifically for this arrangement and does not offer on its own. That is exactly why the set is interesting even for someone who already owns the palette. It is accompanied by a dirty yellow for leather and fabric parts, a cosmic red as a color accent and an old gold for fittings. Four bottles, each with 18 ml.
The blue-gray behaves like a typical contrast color: it darkens in the folds of a coat and stays light on shoulders and bulges, so that fabric gains volume without further work. The warm tones of yellow and gold therefore only need to be used sparingly, otherwise they take over from the cool base the arrangement stands on. The dirty yellow also suits wood, ropes and straps, where it is not meant to look clean.
It aims at players who paint whole armies in a single key, but it will also serve modelers preparing small figures for a winter diorama or for a display case with icy scenery. The remaining three tones can be added individually as well. The arrangement can be extended with the white and gray tones of the palette if snow or frost is to be added.
Store out of the reach of children, mix the contents before applying and keep the neck of the bottle clean.
