X-16 Purple 23ml

Tamiya X-16 Purple, gloss acrylic paint 23 ml

X-16 Purple is a gloss acrylic paint from Tamiya in a 23 ml bottle in a deep purple shade. The X range at Tamiya is gloss and the XF range matte; this is a water-thinned acrylic that is thinned for the airbrush with X-20A acrylic thinner. The gloss surface suits a final coat as well as a smooth base under decals.

Use

• Applied with a brush and with an airbrush, on plastic, resin, wood and other modeling materials
• For spraying, thin it with X-20A thinner (roughly 2:1 to 3:1 paint to thinner)
• The gloss surface makes a good base under decals, which then silver less
• Full coverage of the deep shade comes from thin coats over a dry base
• Before it dries, tools and fresh spots can be washed off with water

Who it is for

For modelers who need a deep gloss purple for bodies, accessories, figures or color details. Suitable for beginners and advanced builders alike.

Keep out of the reach of children and ventilate the room during longer sessions indoors. Shake well before use.
