A cardboard cut-out model of the castle at Litomysl from Vista Model, a brand specializing in models of architecture. It is a paper model meant to be cut out, folded and glued; the parts are preprinted in color, so no additional painting is needed. The instructions are usually in several languages.
Litomysl Castle is one of the most important Renaissance buildings in the Czech Republic, famous for its richly decorated sgraffito facade and its arcaded courtyard. The complex has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1999.
Cut the parts out with a sharp modeling knife along a ruler, and score the fold lines with the blunt side of the blade before bending them for clean creases. Glue with PVA glue for paper, or with cyanoacrylate glue on small joints. Plan the work in sections and let the glue dry thoroughly.
The model is supplied as a card cut-out to be cut out and glued. A knife, a ruler and glue are not included in the package.
