This resin kit in 1:100 scale from Zebrano represents the German light tank Pz.Kpfw.I Ausf. A rearmed with the Italian 20 mm Breda cannon. The small scale and the resin material place the model among collector pieces for experienced modelers. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Panzer I Ausf. A was originally a German light tank armed only with machine guns. In the Spanish Civil War it turned out that it was not enough against the opponent's armor, and some of the machines were therefore rearmed with the Italian 20 mm Breda cannon, which gave the tank at least a limited antiarmor capability. This conversion is a typical example of the improvisations of the Spanish conflict.
Wash the resin parts free of release agent residue, cut the casting blocks off carefully and sand with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate. We recommend a fine primer underneath, painting with an airbrush and restrained weathering to suit the small scale.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
