The Honda Super Cub is a single-track vehicle with a step-through frame, small wheels and plastic covers, whose basic concept has held since the end of the 1950s and which became the most widespread powered two-wheeler in the world. The 110 version is the modern continuation of the line with a single-cylinder four-stroke engine and a semi-automatic gearbox without a hand clutch lever. In Japan the Super Cub is an ordinary part of city traffic, mainly as a delivery and utility vehicle, which makes it a rewarding subject for a diorama too.
Work from the frame and the engine, which are painted before the plastic covers hide them. Spray the covers separately and in thin coats, because on a large smooth area every unevenness shows. A glossy surface calls for a good ground and patience, and the clear coat is built up layer by layer. Degrease the chrome-plated and clear parts and glue them with cyanoacrylate or with a glue for clear plastics, because ordinary cement for plastic will fog them. Apply the decals onto a gloss ground and at the end even the gloss of the whole model out.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
