An injection-molded plastic kit of the American NASA space shuttle in 1:144 scale from Minicraft. The parts are molded in white. The model offers opening payload bay doors, an interior of the flight deck and the payload bay, and a satellite model for the cargo hold. The finished model can be set on a base or shown in flight. Waterslide decals are included.
The Space Shuttle was NASA's crewed space transport vehicle, used for launches into low Earth orbit. It served to carry payloads, to build stations and for scientific missions. The decals allow several specific machines of that fleet to be built.
Glue the parts with a thin plastic cement. The white surface comes out best after primer and airbrush painting; the heat-stressed areas and the panel lines can be picked out lightly with a wash. A gloss clear coat under the decals will prevent silvering and unify the surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
