This is a detail set from the Polish manufacturer Aber in the large 1:16 scale. It is not a model or a kit: it is an aftermarket accessory combining wooden rods (real wood) with brass and photo-etched parts for the brackets. The set reproduces the set of gun barrel cleaning rods and their holders that were carried on the German Tiger II (King Tiger) heavy tank.
The cleaning rods were stowed on a tank in a bundle in holders on the hull and are among the characteristic external details. The combination of real wood and metal brackets looks more realistic than a plastic version and lends the model credibility.
Shorten the wooden rods to the length needed if necessary, separate the metal brackets with a sharp scalpel and bend them in a photo-etch bending tool. The wood can be stained or toned, and the metal parts are painted after a primer for metal has been applied. Glue everything with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with epoxy.
This is an accessory for a model. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
