This detail set from the Polish maker Aber in 1:16 scale holds a fire extinguisher together with brackets of the kind used on German tanks, assault guns and other vehicles of the Second World War. Metal parts replace the plastic form with a more accurate shape and fine brackets. It is not a model but an accessory.
A hand fire extinguisher was part of the standard equipment of German fighting vehicles and was secured to the hull or in the interior by metal brackets. Small as the item is, on a large model it adds markedly to how convincing the vehicle looks.
