This injection-molded plastic kit from the Japanese maker Aoshima captures the four-door Nissan Skyline of the Hakosuka generation in the Liberty Walk (LB Works) tuning version. The package contains plastic sprues, rubber tires and a decal sheet. The model is intended for modelers with an interest in modified Japanese cars.
Hakosuka is the nickname for the third generation Nissan Skyline from the turn of the 1960s and 1970s, prized by collectors and tuners alike. The Liberty Walk (LB Works) conversion adds prominent wide fenders (overfenders), aerodynamic elements and a lowered suspension in the shakotan style. The version captures the four-door sedan body.
The body is best captured with a gloss paint followed by polishing; an airbrush will deliver a smooth surface. Deal with the chrome and the clear parts at the end, and apply the decals over a gloss base. Remove the flash and clean up the parts before gluing. The model can be built straight out of the box.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
