A set of turned metal barrels for the Hispano Mk I 20 mm aircraft cannons, intended for the large 1:24 scale model of the Hawker Hurricane Mk IIC fighter. This is not an aircraft kit but an accurate metal accessory that replaces the plastic barrels from the box and gives the model a realistic look for its armament. This version matches the cannons with flat recoil springs.
The Hawker Hurricane Mk IIC was a British fighter of the Second World War whose wing carried four Hispano cannons of 20 mm caliber. It was precisely this heavy armament that set the Mk IIC apart from the earlier machine-gun versions, and it proved itself against ground as well as air targets.
Separate the turned parts carefully, clean up the contact faces and seat them in place of the original plastic barrels. Use cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal surface before painting; it takes paint and weathering just like the rest of the model.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
