An HGW detail accessory with seat belts for the cockpit of a model of the British fighter-bomber Hawker Typhoon Mk.IB in 1:24 scale. This is not an aircraft kit but a set of belts of fine woven cloth with printed stitching and brass photo-etched buckles. The cloth is supple and allows realistic shaping in an open cockpit.
The Hawker Typhoon was a British single-seat fighter-bomber of the Second World War, famous as a destroyer of ground targets with its heavy armament of cannons and rockets. In a large scale the cockpit interior comes to the fore, and faithful belts contribute fundamentally to the impression.
Separate the photo-etched buckles and bend them, and the cloth can be toned lightly for a worn look. Glue the metal parts with cyanoacrylate glue, and the fabric parts can also be fixed with PVA glue.
This is an aftermarket accessory. The aircraft model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
