1:350 USS Wasp LHD-1 part 5 is the fifth Eduard photo-etched set for the model of the American multipurpose amphibious assault ship in 1:350 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The fifth part of the photo-etched equipment for the model of the American amphibious assault ship. The designation part 5 means that Eduard split the extensive material into several separately sold sets that complement one another; the earlier parts exist under the same name with a lower sequence number. The code series for ships and submarines places it among the full photo-etched sets.
USS Wasp is the lead ship of the US Navy class of multipurpose amphibious assault ships and entered service in 1989. She combines a full-length flight deck for helicopters and short-takeoff aircraft with a floodable stern well for landing craft. The superstructure is densely packed with antennas and railings, that is, with parts that cannot be molded in plastic at a matching thickness.
Glue the railings on only after the deck has been sprayed, otherwise you will do damage while painting. Tack longer runs at their end points first and only then fine-tune the run. Prime the metal parts beforehand with a spray primer. Fit the antennas and masts last, so that you do not catch them with your sleeve. The metal railing is fragile, so keep the finished model under a dust cover.
The item consists of a photo-etched fret. Neither the ship hull nor paints belong to it.
