An injection-molded plastic kit from the Polish manufacturer Arma Hobby, which has built a reputation over recent years as a brand with fine surface detail and good fit in small scale. The boxing covers the two French production sub-variants, A1 and A2, which differ mainly in armament.
The Curtiss Hawk 75 was an American all-metal fighter with a radial engine and retractable landing gear whose wheels folded backward and rotated flat into the wing. France ordered it at a moment when its own industry could not keep up, and the H-75 designation is precisely the export version for the French Air Force. The machines went into combat right at the start of the war and French pilots scored the first aerial victories on them, even though the type was no longer among the fastest. It excelled in handling and in the strength of its structure.
Finish and paint the cockpit before you glue the fuselage together, otherwise you will not reach it again. The parts are glued with thin cement for plastic. Attach and mask the glazing before spraying. Coat the surfaces with gloss varnish before the decals; on a matte surface air would be trapped under the decal and the edge would turn white. Unify the finished paintwork with matte varnish and only then apply the chipping and the exhaust stains.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
