A set of four turned metal barrels for the Hispano Mk II aircraft cannon of 20 mm caliber in 1:24 scale. An accurate metal accessory suitable for instance for the large model of the Mosquito, which carried four of these cannons. It replaces the plastic barrels from the box and raises the realism of the armament.
The Hispano cannon of 20 mm caliber was the standard British aircraft armament of the Second World War. The fighter-bomber and fighter versions of the de Havilland Mosquito carried four of these cannons in the nose of the fuselage.
Separate the barrels carefully, clean them up and seat them in place of the plastic parts. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue and degrease the metal surface before painting.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
