An injection-molded plastic kit of the sports coupe Mazda Savanna RX-7 of the second generation (FC3S) in 1:24 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Fujimi. The body is usually molded in white plastic, the chassis and the details in black, and chrome wheels, rubber tires and decals are available. The model is assembled and painted, and glue, paints and tools are not included in the package.
The RX-7 of the FC series (sold in Japan under the name Savanna RX-7) was built from 1985 and became famous for its light, compact Wankel engine and its balanced rear-wheel-drive chassis. It was a typical drifting and circuit legend of the end of the 1980s, popular to this day among admirers of the Japanese sports classics.
Use liquid modeling cement on the plastic; it is a good idea to treat the body with a surfacer (primer) before painting and to spray it with an airbrush for a smooth glossy surface. Glue the glazing and the chrome accessories only at the end, ideally with glue for clear parts, so that they do not fog up.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
