It captures an old gas pump with a single dispensing hose in the style of interwar and postwar filling stations. It is not a vehicle kit but a detailed scenic element that will bring a garage or street diorama to life or will serve as a standalone displayed piece.
The set brings a finely rendered pump body, a base plate, a dispensing nozzle and a hose connector cast in resin, clear parts for the glazing and a rubber hose. Decals for two different period finishes are included, so you can adapt the look of the pump to the scene.
First wash the parts free of the remains of the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces flat with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). For the realistic look of an old pump, gloss colors on the body suit well, completed with a wash, chipped paint and light rust; seal the decals with a varnish compatible with the paint used.
This is a diorama accessory, not a vehicle model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue and paints are not included in the package.
