This is an accessory for your own kit, not a model of an aircraft. The package contains a hundred small resin anchor points for 1:24 scale. They are not the turnbuckles themselves but their counterpart: the fitting through which a wire enters the covering of the wing or the fuselage and where it ends. These are exactly the places that kits deal with worst, often only with a suggested dimple, or not at all.

Why anchor points are worth it

When a wire on a model is simply sunk into a drilled hole, the transition looks unfinished and from close up all you see is a dark opening. An anchor point closes that transition off and gives the wire a logical beginning. In a large scale, where the covering and its divisions read clearly, it is the difference between the impression of a model half built and one finished. A hundred pieces in the package will cover even a machine with a dense bracing system with room to spare.

How to work with them

It pays to lay out the position of all the points before assembly and before painting, while the surfaces are accessible. First wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent because of the remains of the mold release agent. Given the size of the parts, have fine-tipped tweezers and a light surface ready on which a small part will not escape you. Cut with a new blade, sand wet and with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue; the gel version gives you time to adjust the position before the joint sets.
