1:24 Schwabenland Army Tanker Head Set, Front46 (5 pieces) is a set of five tank crew heads from the retro science fiction Front46 range by MAiM, intended for individualizing figures and vehicle crews in 1:24 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of five heads of Schwabenland Army tank crewmen belongs to the Front46 range, the retro science fiction world of the manufacturer MAiM, which combines the aesthetic of the middle of the 20th century with fantastic machinery. It is an accessory for figures in 1:24 scale: heads on their own, meant to replace the original heads of your figures or to finish conversions of vehicle crews.
Swapping a head is the simplest way to give a production figure a new expression and to tell the members of one crew apart. The set suits above all the tank crew figures and vehicle crews from the same range, but it will also serve to liven up other figures in the same scale; you only have to compare the proportions and adjust the seating face of the neck.
First free the castings of any casting marks, wash them and give them a primer. Faces come out well painted in layers with acrylics or oil paints: a basic skin tone, fine shadows in the eye sockets and around the nose, and a final highlight on the cheekbones and the chin with a dry brush. A fine wash will bring out the details of the headgear.
The set holds only the heads, not whole figures. It is supplied as an unpainted casting to be cleaned up and painted; paints and glue are not included in the package.
