It contains parts etched from thin sheet, which replace the simplified plastic parts and add features that cannot be molded in plastic. The set does not make a model — you need the matching plastic kit for it.
According to the name this is the cockpit interior, that is an area clearly visible through an open canopy in a large scale. Sets of this type usually take care of instrument panels, side consoles, levers and seat belts. The specific extent of the parts and any color printing are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The Douglas A-26 Invader was an American twin-engine all-metal attack aircraft with the crew in the forward part of the fuselage. The A-26C version differed from the attack variant with the solid nose in having a glazed nose section. The cockpit is fairly roomy and in 1:32 scale stays legible even with the canopy closed.
Cut the parts off with a sharp scalpel on a glass or metal surface and sand the burr down with a fine file. Make the bends in a bender so that the edges are sharp and straight. Degrease the sheet before gluing and join it with superglue (cyanoacrylate); cement for plastic will not join metal. Paint the interior parts before they are glued into the fuselage — in a finished cockpit you can no longer reach them. Use a primer meant for metal on bare sheet.
This is an accessory for a model, not the model itself. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
