AML decals 1:32 Fokker D.VII in Finnish service. A sheet for the famous German fighter of the First World War that served with the Finnish Air Force after the war.
Responsibility details are not available.
A decal sheet from the Czech manufacturer AML in 1:32 scale devoted to the Fokker D.VII aircraft in the service of the Finnish Air Force. The Fokker D.VII is considered the best German fighter of the First World War, outstanding in rate of climb and in handling at high altitude, and it was the only type named specifically in the terms of the armistice. After the war the aircraft reached a number of countries; the young Finnish Air Force used them in the 1920s, and in the training role they served well beyond that.
The Finnish aircraft are an attractive alternative to the ever-present German lozenge schemes, and a model wearing them stands out in any collection. The sheet is intended for Fokker D.VII kits in the large 1:32 scale, where detailed markings look superb beside the taut fabric and the rigging wires.
Apply the decals over a gloss or semi-gloss base. Soak the subject briefly in lukewarm water, let it release and settle it on the model in a drop of water, which makes it easier to move. Press the surplus water out with a soft cloth from the center towar the edges, and on a textured surface use a decal softener. Once dry, coat the whole model over, which makes the decals blend optically with the paint.
A modeling accessory; the sheet does not contain the aircraft kit, paints or glue.
