A resin figure in 1:32 depicting a member of the ground crew who served with German bomber units in the First World War. The casting is supplied unassembled and unpainted and serves as an accessory to large aircraft models or for an airfield diorama.
Operating twin-engine bombers meant a great volume of work for the ground crew. Fuel and oil had to be topped up, the engines checked and started, the machines moved around the airfield, the coverings repaired and the load prepared. The crew worked in plain coveralls and working tunics; it is precisely these figures that give a diorama scale and show how big a machine really was.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent and remove the remains of mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw and sand the surfaces wet and with protection for your airways. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Once the primer has been applied, paint with a brush: working clothing comes out best in muted shades with a wash into the folds and spots of oil staining. Complete the footwear and the lower part of the trousers with dust pigment, so that the figure blends optically with the base of the diorama.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
