MASTER 1:32 MiG-21 PF, PFM (Fishbed D, F) pitot tube is a turned metal replacement for the sensor that refines a model of the MiG-21 fighter in the PF and PFM versions.
Responsibility details are not available.
A turned metal detail part that replaces the plastic pitot tube on the nose of a MiG-21 model in the PF and PFM versions (Fishbed D and F in the NATO reporting name) in 1:32 scale. The metal version faithfully captures the shape of the long forward sensor that is typical of this fighter.
The MiG-21 was a Soviet supersonic interceptor and one of the most widespread jet aircraft in history. The PF and PFM versions were among the radar-equipped interceptor variants of the 1960s. The prominent pitot tube on the nose is one of their recognition features.
Cut off the original plastic sensor, drill a seating hole and glue the metal part in with cyanoacrylate. The part is strong and accurate in size and takes both handling and painting along with the model.
This is a detail part, not a model of an aircraft. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
