Wheels with tires flattened under load for late-version MiG-21 Fishbeds in 1:32 scale is a resin accessory set from the Armory brand.
Responsibility details are not available.
This item is an accessory, not a kit of the aircraft. It contains wheels cast in resin whose tires are shaped with the settling where they touch the ground. According to the name the set is intended for the late form of the MiG-21. The manufacturer is Armory. The number of parts in the package and the rest of its contents are not stated here.
On an aircraft wheel you always have to deal with the crisp division between the dark tire and the lighter hub. In the large 1:32 scale that division is pronounced on the model, and a boundary that does not come off spoils the impression more than other details. A resin casting offers better starting conditions for this than injection-molded plastic, because it holds the transition between hub and tire crisply and has no parting line around the circumference that would have to be sanded away.
Wash the casting in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap, otherwise primer will not hold on it. Cut the casting block off with a saw and level the surface with sanding paper on a flat board. A proven painting sequence is to spray the whole wheel in the tire shade, then once dry mask the tire with a circular mask or a narrow strip of masking tape wound around the circumference and spray the hub. Anyone who does not want to mask can brush the hub in and pull the boundary out at the end. It is glued with cyanoacrylate; turn the settled part of the tire down toward the base.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
