This set holds photo-etched metal seat belts matching the cockpit fittings of Soviet Yakovlev (Yak) series fighters from the period of the Second World War. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory. The manufacturer is the Czech firm AML.
Photo-etched belts with faithful buckles replace the flat kit parts and markedly raise the level of detail in the open cockpit of a Soviet fighter. The set tends to be sized for fitting out one aircraft.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, shape them with tweezers and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Bend the straps so that they drape naturally over the seat; fine-tune the shade as needed with paint or a wash.
This is an accessory, not a model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
