A quick and striking build, after which one of the most popular Japanese sports cars of the present day stays on a shelf.
The Toyota 86 revived the tradition of affordable sports coupes with rear-wheel drive. The car, developed in cooperation with Subaru, was given a low-set flat four-cylinder boxer engine, thanks to which it offers a low center of gravity and playful, honest behavior for a driver. The name refers to the legendary Corolla AE86, the darling of drifting fans, and the modern 86 too became a star of track days and of automotive pop culture.
Separate the parts with nippers close to the part and clean the gates up lightly so that the joints engage smoothly. The build goes from the chassis through the interior to the body, and everything holds without glue. More advanced builders can bring the grille and the window frames out with a fine black brush, because the contrast with the orange body suits the model very well.
The model is supplied unassembled. The parts are molded in color and the build goes by snapping, so glue and paints are not needed for it.
