A set of photo-etched parts and decals for detailing the cockpit of the plastic kit of the German naval aircraft Hansa-Brandenburg W.29 in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but an interior accessory to be fitted into the matching kit. The combination of brass photo-etch and a decal makes it possible to render the instrument panel, the fittings and other elements of the cabin faithfully.
The W.29 was a German naval floatplane fighter monoplane of the end of the First World War, powered by an inline engine and deployed above all over the North Sea. The open cockpit with its clearly visible instrument panel is a rewarding target for detailing.
The photo-etched parts replace and complete the elements of the cockpit; the decal serves for a faithful rendering of the instruments and the surface details, and of the imitation of the wooden surfaces where needed. Separate the parts from the fret, bend them over a sharp edge and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply the decals onto a smooth base coated with varnish.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
