The figure of an anti-aircraft position commander in 1:35 scale is a single figure from Das Werk that gives a diorama with a weapon a clear storyline and direction.
Responsibility details are not available.
The package holds one figure in 1:35 scale designated as the commander of an anti-aircraft position. It is not a model of a weapon or a vehicle, but an accessory for a diorama or a model that gives the position a directing figure. It is precisely the commander who tends to be the figure in a scene that determines where the others are looking.
In a composition the commanding figure works as the apex of an imaginary triangle: he usually stands away from the immediate crew of the weapon, a little higher or to one side, and his gaze leads the viewer's eye to the target the weapon is pointing at. When you build the scene, place him first and only then align the direction of the barrel, the spacing of the other figures and the free space around them. The figure also suits display on its own on a small base, where the work on the folds of the clothing stands out.
First remove the sprue remains and the parting lines, mainly along the arms and on the edges of the clothing; on commanding figures the critical places tend to be the collar and the cap, where every unevenness shows. Choose the glue according to the material of the casting: cement for plastic on plastic, super glue on resin. A primer is essential, otherwise the paint rubs off the smooth surface. Paint the face first, while the figure is still loose in your hand, and only then finish the clothing. In 1:35 scale it is better to overdo the contrast: a mild lightening of the edges and a thinned wash in the folds will keep the figure readable even from a distance, and matte clear coat at the end will unify the sheen.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model of the weapon, glue and paints are not included in the package.
