A self-adhesive sheet with a printed bathroom tiling motif from the MAiM brand in 1:35 scale. Tiles are among the surfaces that define a room unambiguously, a bathroom, a washroom, a kitchen or a hospital corridor. A printed sticker transfers the regular grid of the tiling onto walls and floors with no laborious scribing and no risk of crooked joints.
Cut the sheet into strips to suit the height of the tiling, peel the backing off and press it onto a smooth, degreased wall or floor. Always run the corners and the joins along the tile joints so that the pattern carries over. The top edge of the tiling can be finished with a thin plastic section as a trim.
Tiling looks believable with a satin clear coat that imitates glaze. In ruins the contrast of clean tiles with the destruction around them stands out, so cover only part of an area or tear the edge deliberately as if the tiles had fallen off, and add rubble and dust. A yellowed wash will give an old washroom just the right atmosphere.
The exact pattern and the size of the sheet are not stated here.
