1:35 CH-47F Chinook is a 3D printed and pre-painted set of cockpit panels on decal paper from Red Fox Studio. An accessory for a helicopter kit in 1:35 scale. It allows for the Trumpeter kit.

The set contains 3D printed and already painted panels of the flight deck of the most modern production version of the twin-rotor transport helicopter. Everything is on decal paper and is applied like a decal, with no gluing and no painting. It is not a helicopter kit but an accessory for a model in 1:35 scale.
The target kit is Trumpeter; that is bought separately.
In terms of the cockpit the F version is the biggest break in the whole family. While the older standards are built on a grid of round analog indicators, here large multi-function displays take up the center of the panel and the classic dials step back into the role of standby instruments. The center console and the arrangement of the control panels changed as well. For a modeler this means that a panel from the A or D version does not fit the F version even remotely; the difference is apparent at first glance even through the glazing. Color printing has an advantage here precisely with the displays, whose surfaces are very hard to paint by hand.
The displays deserve different treatment from the rest of the panel. While the surrounding panel tends to be matte, the screens look more convincing with a slight sheen, so it pays to put a tiny drop of gloss clear coat on them once dry and leave the rest of the surface matte. The seating itself is standard: a close trim, a smooth degreased glossy base, fine-tuning of the position while the part is still movable, and blotting away the excess water. Apply the panels before glazing the cockpit, because after that you will not get into the space.
The accessory is supplied without the kit, paints and glue. Check the fit with your kit in 1:35 scale beforehand.
