This detail set in 1:35 scale from Aber is not a standalone model but an accessory in photo-etched metal for raising the detail of the French Renault FT-17 light tank. It is the second part (vol.2, the add-on set), which follows on from the basic set and adds further fine elements.
The Renault FT-17 was a French light tank of the First World War and a pioneer of the modern tank layout with a rotating turret. In the Char Canon version it carried a gun in the rotating turret. Thanks to its reliability and simplicity it spread to many armies and served into the interwar period as well.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade, form the bends under a rule or on a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. The fine sheet metal elements and the riveted detail come out well once sprayed with a primer and given a wash.
