Easter Gifts - an American artillery crew of the Second World War in 1:35 scale from MIG Productions, resin figures for models of guns and for dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of resin figures from MIG Productions captures the crew of an American artillery piece during the Second World War. The name refers to the well-known period motif of the spring of 1945, when artillerymen wrote messages on shells - the figures therefore suit a snapshot from the end of the war in Europe naturally. The gun itself is not included in the set; it is a figure accessory for models of vehicles and equipment.
American artillery played a key role in the advance through western Europe in 1944 and 1945. The crews of field howitzers worked in well-drilled teams of several men - preparing ammunition, aiming, loading and firing. The set is therefore a natural addition to models of American howitzers and to dioramas of gun positions.
First wash the resin figures to remove the mold release agent, take off the casting blocks and glue the parts with super glue. The uniforms are best caught by olive shades, brought to life by gently lightening the folds; faces and hands come out best with oil paints or careful shading in acrylics.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. The gun, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
