German sFH18 15cm Howitzer Ammo Set 1:35 is a set of turned metal rounds for the German sFH 18 heavy field howitzer of 15 cm caliber.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a detailed ammunition set in 1:35 scale, not a model of the gun. It contains turned metal (brass) rounds for the German sFH 18 heavy field howitzer of 15 cm caliber of the Second World War period. The metal construction gives the ammunition an accurate shape and a faithful metallic sheen.
The Schwere Feldhaubitze 18 (sFH 18) was the standard German heavy field howitzer of the Second World War, of 15 cm caliber. It was used as a towed weapon and as the main armament of the Hummel self-propelled gun. The ammunition was separate-loading - a shell on its own and a case with the propelling charge.
Degrease the metal parts, level off any small burrs and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Apply a primer to the smooth metal so that the paint will hold. A combination of glossy cases and more matte shells with a fine wash creates a convincing impression of a real ammunition dump.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model of the gun are not included in the package.
