Responsibility details are not available.
A collector's model of Czechoslovak heavy fortification in the small 1:1000 scale from the publisher ROP o.s. It represents a particular infantry blockhouse designated MO-Sm-S 40 and named Nad silnici. It is a static model of a structure, not of a vehicle or an aircraft.
The work belongs to the system of Czechoslovak border fortification built between 1935 and 1938 under the Directorate of Fortification Works. The blockhouse was part of the defensive line in the Moravian-Silesian sector, in the area of the Smolkov fortress. Concrete blockhouses of this type were the backbone of the permanent defense of the prewar republic.
In 1:1000 scale this is a small object. Clean the parts, tidy up the parting surfaces and glue them together. Concrete is imitated with gray shades and a light accent on the edges, while period camouflage and the soil around it complete the final impression. It is a good idea to set the model on a small base or into a mini diorama.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
