Eduard 1:35 M-26 tool boxes is a photo-etched accessory, not a model. It adds faithful metal tool boxes to the heavy American M-26 vehicle.

A set of photo-etched parts from the Czech maker Eduard. It is not a model but an accessory that replaces the plastic tool boxes with more faithful metal ones, with relief on the lid, hinges and brackets, for the heavy American M-26 vehicle.
Tool boxes are usually rendered only in a simplified way in plastic. The photo-etched version offers sharper edges, thinner walls and fine detail on the latches and hinges, so the result looks more realistic, especially close up and in photographs of the model.
Bend the parts into a box shape on a photo-etch bending tool and reinforce the joints with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease them before gluing them to the model. The inside of the boxes can be suggested with a dark shade; match the outside to the color of the vehicle and add wear on the edges.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
