A decal set from the Hungarian manufacturer HAD models in 1:35 scale. It is an accessory for a helicopter model: markings for a machine of the Mi-17P version operated by the Hungarian Air Force, in a large scale suited to models conceived in detail.
The Mi-17 is the export designation of the improved line of the famous Mi-8 transport helicopter. It is told from its predecessor above all by the tail rotor moved to the left side and by more powerful engines. It is one of the most widespread transport helicopters in the world, deployed to carry personnel and cargo, for airborne drops and for rescue duties. The Hungarian Air Force operated machines of the Mi-8 and Mi-17 lines for decades, and their working look is a rewarding subject for modelers.
Apply the decals onto a glossy, cured base; on a large model in 1:35 scale we recommend working by sections of the fuselage. Soak the motifs in lukewarm water, move them onto the model with a soft brush and bed them over projections and seams with a softener. Once dry, fix everything with clear, and only then apply washes and fine weathering; on a working transport machine even more pronounced traces of service look convincing.
This is a decal accessory: the helicopter model itself is not included in the package.
