Friulmodel Mk II / Mk IV metal tracks 1:35 are a replacement set of link tracks in white metal for a model of the British First World War tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of replacement tracks in white metal for building a model of the British Mark II and Mark IV tank of the First World War in 1:35 scale. It is not a model of the vehicle but an accessory: the individual metal links are threaded onto wire and create a workable track that will replace the original rubber or plastic tracks of the kit.
The British Mark II and Mark IV tanks are among the first fighting tanks ever. They have the characteristic rhomboid shape of hull with tracks running around the whole perimeter and armament in side sponsons. They were committed on the western front of the First World War.
Clean the links up and join them with wire; on these tanks the run of the track around the whole perimeter of the hull is clearly visible, so metal links raise the realism markedly. Apply a primer to the metal, then the base color and a patina with dust and mud.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
