American tank crewman no. 1 in 1:48 scale from Bodi Miniatures: a resin figure for dioramas of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A single-figure resin set in the smaller 1:48 scale from Bodi Miniatures. The figure represents a member of an American tank crew of the Second World War, and it is meant to complete a diorama with armored vehicles in 1:48 scale. The casting in modeling resin offers fine detail of the period uniform and equipment even in this smaller format.
The subject is an American tank crewman of the Second World War in period coveralls and a tank crew helmet. The crews of armored vehicles wore practical clothing adapted to service inside a tank. The figure is treated factually and historically, as a representative figure for a modeling scene.
The smaller scale makes greater demands on precision. Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the mold seams. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and wear respiratory protection while sanding. Apply a primer and build the face and hands up with fine shading; finish the uniform with a thin wash.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
