The set replaces the stock plastic wheels with more faithfully cast resin parts that carry the realistic tread pattern of the off-road tires of the American Cougar 6x6 MRAP armored vehicle. It is not a kit of the vehicle but a detail accessory for the base model.
The Cougar is an American armored vehicle of the MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) category with its distinctive V-shaped hull, resistant to mines and improvised explosive devices. The six-wheeled version serves for convoy escort, reconnaissance and mine clearing, and it carries massive off-road tires with run-flat inserts.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The wheels are usually cast with a hint of load on them, so take care to turn the contact patch correctly toward the ground.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
