1:35 Panther Ausf.G is an unassembled plastic kit of the German Panther medium tank in its late production version. The model in 1:35 scale is supplied by the British brand Airfix.

This item is a plastic kit of a tank, not an accessory set or a finished model. The 1:35 scale is the most widespread for military vehicles, so figures, diorama accessories and sets of luggage and cargo are easy to buy for the model. Airfix is a British manufacturer with a long tradition in the modeling field. The number of parts, the contents of the package and the range of color schemes are given in the instructions supplied with the kit.
The Panther Ausf.G was the last series-built version of the German Panther medium tank. It is set apart from the older versions by the simplified shape of the hull sides without a separate driver's visor, a modified arrangement of the hatches and a number of production simplifications meant to speed output up. The main armament was a long-barreled 75 mm gun with a high muzzle velocity, and the heavily sloped frontal armor increased the resistance of the hull. The running gear with interleaved road wheels and torsion bars gave the vehicle a smooth ride off road, but it was demanding to maintain and repair.
The interleaved running gear is the critical spot on Panthers — fit the wheels according to the instructions and let them cure properly, otherwise the last row will not go into place. The inside of the hull, which stays visible only through the openings once it is closed, is enough to spray in a dark shade. Multi-color camouflage can be managed with an airbrush with a fine nozzle or with a brush, if you add a retarder to the paint. Build the weathering in layers: first a dark wash into the welds and rivets, then oil stains and rust marks, and finally pigments on the suspension and the lower areas of the hull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
