Plastic Crates set A in 1:35 scale from Matho Models — miniature crates as a colorful load and a civilian detail for dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
Plastic Crates A from Matho Models is a set of miniature plastic crates in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit of a vehicle; these are diorama props, that is small objects that settle a scene and give it everyday credibility. Plastic crates are an inseparable part of the modern world: you will find them by shops, in stores, in marketplaces and on the beds of vans.
Stack the crates into columns by a loading ramp, place them around the bed of a truck, stand them in front of a little shop or leave them tipped over in a ditch by a road. They work splendidly in modern military subjects, that is supply, checkpoints and humanitarian scenes, as well as in purely civilian vignettes. A combination with crates, drums and cardboard boxes will create a richly textured corner.
Real crates come in rich colors, red, blue, yellow, green, and that is exactly how to treat them in miniature; a varied heap of crates is a rewarding accent of color in a scene. A satin matte varnish will imitate the plastic surface and a fine dark wash will bring the ribbing and the lattice out. Choose the dirtying sparingly: a dust pigment at the bottom and a few scuffs are enough, as plastic does not rust.
A diorama accessory; the base models, figures, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
