1:35 Polish soldier in a sweatshirt, Afghanistan 2011 is a resin figure from Toro Model for scenes with current military equipment. Decals are included in the box.
Responsibility details are not available.
A stand-alone figure in 1:35 scale cast in resin, meant as an addition to a diorama with current equipment. It is not a vehicle kit. The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and a decal sheet for indicating the patches is included in the box. The maker is the Polish brand Toro Model, which concentrates on modern figures in this scale.
The subject is a soldier of the Polish army from the Afghan deployment around 2011, when the Polish contingent served in Afghanistan as part of the international forces. The figure is wearing a sweatshirt, that is, an informal layer of clothing outside full combat gear. Figures conceived this way suit quiet scenes, a base, vehicle maintenance or loading materiel, where a fully equipped soldier would look unnatural.
Wash the casting in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off and sand the surfaces, protecting your airways while sanding. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue; plastic cement has no effect on resin. Lay down a thin coat of primer and paint with a brush or an airbrush. On the soft knit of the sweatshirt, fine shading with paint looks better than a sharp wash, because the cloth has no hard edges. Finish the face and hands with oil paints, which can be blended for a long time.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
