A detailed set for improving a model of the BMR-1 mine-clearing vehicle fitted with a mine-clearing roller in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit but an accessory that replaces the coarse plastic cables from the box with a faithful combination of flexible copper wire rope and cast resin eyes. The cables have the right thickness and real braiding.
On a mine-clearing vehicle with a heavy roller the towing cables are among the prominent functional features. Unlike plastic, scale metal wire rope can be bent naturally and routed to follow the shape of the hull and the brackets, so it looks realistic.
Cut the wire rope to the length needed, glue the ends into the resin eyes with super glue, and clean the casting remains off the eyes first. Position the cable on the brackets and paint it together with the model: metal holds its shape and does not spring back.
It is an accessory for a model. The vehicle itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
