This basic photo-etched set is intended to raise the detail of a plastic model of the Soviet BT-7 light tank in 1:35 scale. It is not a vehicle kit of its own but an accessory that replaces selected plastic parts with fine metal pieces. It is the basic part of the range, which further extension sets follow on from.
The BT-7 was a Soviet fast tank of the 1930s with Christie suspension and the option of running on tracks or on wheels. It was marked by high speed and was widely fielded at the start of the Second World War.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a glass surface and bend them on a bending tool or between two rulers. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or epoxy; degrease the metal before painting and apply a base coat for metals.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a complete model. The base plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
