It is not a tank kit but a set of brass photo-etched parts that replace and supplement the fine details on a plastic model of the Russian T-90A tank. Tetra Model Works specializes in precise photo-etched aftermarket sets. The set is meant for the Meng kit.
The T-90A is a Russian main battle tank that follows on in development from the proven T-72 line. It stands out for a welded turret, composite and reactive armor and a stabilized gun. On the model, photo-etch brings out the grilles, the fenders, the side protective elements and the small hatches best.
Separate the photo-etched parts from the fret, clean them up and bend them accurately with a bending tool. They are bonded with super glue. Fit the hull details and the grilles thoughtfully; once varnished, you will appreciate weathering with washes and dust pigments for the faithful look of a combat vehicle.
This is a refining accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
