Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure in 1:35 scale showing a Soviet tank crewman from the period of the Second World War. The casting of gray modeling resin is supplied unpainted, unassembled and with casting blocks. The figure is intended to complete a finished model of an armored vehicle, typically in an open hatch, where it immediately gives the model scale and action.
Soviet tank crewmen wore characteristic overalls with roomy pockets and a soft tanker helmet with padded ribs and earphones, which protected the head against knocks inside the vehicle. The equipment included leather accessories, a pouch and, in winter, an insulated version of the clothing. These elements are clearly readable in 1:35 scale and in painting they offer a contrast between the soft fabric of the helmet and the smooth overalls.
Wash the casting in lukewarm water with dish soap to remove the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw and sand the surfaces wet with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Before gluing it into the hatch, try the seating dry, because figures for hatches often have to be shortened or modified. After primer, paint the overalls in a muted tone and bring out the ribbed helmet with a dark wash and a dry brush, so that the texture stands out. Build the face up in layers and finally even the surface out with a matte clear coat.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
